Debra Mullen

LCSW

Debra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned an MSEd in Guidance and Counseling from UW- Superior and has a BA degree in Creative Writing from UNM-Albuquerque.

She enjoys working primarily with adults. She has a special passion for working with older adults and understands the particular challenges faced by elders.  She is well-versed in working with clients who struggle with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. She is LGBTQ+ affirming.

She has over 10 years of experience in providing treatment for men (and women) who use violence in interpersonal relationships.

Debra’s approach is person-centered. As a person-centered counselor, her goal is always to provide a safe environment to explore your challenges, a non-judgmental ear to listen, and  options to help you move forward in a way that is meaningful to you. She will challenge you to be an active partner in therapy and to work toward ongoing insight, growth, and positive change both in and outside of sessions.

Her hope is that clients walk out of session feeling heard, supported, challenged at times, but often relieved and with greater comfort and meaning in their lives.

Debra has made Menominee, MI.  her home for the past 20 years.
